- Twenty~4 Automatic or Calatrava? The Calatrava is larger (38-40mm) and the brand's flagship dress family; the Twenty~4 sits at 36mm and carries the date complication the basic Calatrava does not. For a smaller-wristed collector who wants in-house Patek automatic movement, the Twenty~4 36mm is a better fit than the Calatrava 40mm. They occupy the same movement tier.
- Steel or gold? Steel references trade near retail with moderate secondary-market support. Gold references price significantly higher and are less liquid. Steel is the honest entry choice for most buyers; gold for those who want Patek at its traditional material position.
