Subreddits
Reddit has the most active day-to-day watch conversation in English. Quality varies by community — these are worth following.
The main watch community on Reddit. Wide range of discussions, new acquisitions, questions, and comparisons. Skews toward accessible to mid-range but all price points appear.
More technically focused than r/Watches. Movement finishing, servicing discussions, and deeper editorial content. Good signal-to-noise ratio.
Dedicated Seiko community covering everything from Presage to Grand Seiko. Particularly good for SARB-era and vintage Seiko discussion.
Grand Seiko specific. Dial photography here is consistently excellent, which tells you something about how the community feels about these watches.
Good for Black Bay and Pelagos discussion, and the vintage Snowflake conversation is ongoing.

Forums and editorial
Forums have deeper archives and more specialized discussion than subreddits. For vintage research and reference documentation, the forum archives are often the primary source.
