Brand history

Founded 1833 by Antoine LeCoultre in Le Sentier, Vallée de Joux. Famous as the 'watchmaker's watchmaker' — JLC has supplied movements to Patek, AP, Vacheron, IWC, and Cartier across its history. The Reverso (1931) is the most-imitated dress-watch silhouette of the 20th century; the Master Control line is the modern catalog's workhorse.
