On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the production of the famous Soviet watch Raketa "Polar" (1970), the Raketa Manufacture has relaunched this historic model, based on the original sketches preserved in the archives. Produced in 1970 for the Soviet polar explorers of the 16th Antarctic Expedition, it had to withstand temperatures of -89°C and allow distinguishing between polar day and night thanks to a mechanical movement that rotates the hour hand in 24 hours. Limited reissue of 200 pieces, produced with "old school" machines and processes by the Raketa Watchmaking Manufacture, which produces its entire mechanical movement.
