Antarctique
Czapek’s integrated-bracelet sport line, launched 2020 as the brand’s entry into the luxury-steel-sport category. The Antarctique Passage de Drake carries an Ice White or Stardust dial paired with the in-house automatic caliber SXH5; the integrated bracelet is fabricated to a quick-release system. The Antarctique is the line that took Czapek from a small independent into a brand the trade tracks against the Vacheron Overseas and Patek Aquanaut tier.

Which ref to buy
Czapek & Cie was revived in 2015 by Xavier de Roquemaurel. The Antarctique is the brand's signature piece: a round case, in-house SHX5 movement visible through the dial, fume or textured dials produced in small series. Geneva-based independent with genuine manufacture credentials.

Antarctique -- Geneva independent with in-house movement, fume dials, the best value proposition among emerging Swiss independents.
- The case for it:
- Czapek's SHX5 movement is genuinely in-house -- not an ebauche -- and the movement architecture is visible through the open-dial design. The fume dials are produced in small numbered series and each colorway sells out. For buyers who want independent watch credibility without Voutilainen prices, Czapek is the most compelling current option.
- Consider instead if:
- Czapek is still an emerging brand with 10 years of modern history. The secondary market is growing but not established. Buyers who want proven secondary market strength should look at Patek or AP.
