Sterling-silver watches
References in the Grail Atlas catalog with a silver case.
Sterling silver (925, 92.5% pure) cases are uncommon in modern watchmaking, the metal tarnishes, scratches easily, and offers no functional advantage over steel. The category survives in dressier or art-watch references: certain F.P. Journe pieces use 925 silver dials in gold cases; the Tudor Black Bay Pro 79470 has used silver-coloured case finishing but the case itself is steel; vintage pocket watch movements occasionally migrated to wristwatch cases in silver. Most "silver" colour references are actually rhodium-plated white gold or polished steel, confirm the hallmark.
