The case for it:
The frosted gold dial in the Series 2 is one of the most beautiful dial treatments in contemporary watchmaking -- predating and independent of the Patek/AP frosted gold collaborations. The combination of handmade movement and frosted dial is unique.

All RWS series share the same fundamental value proposition. The choice between them is aesthetic, not technical. The frosted dial will be the deciding factor for most buyers.
