Rexhep Rexhepi
Brand history
Rexhep Rexhepi’s own-name brand, distinct from the Akrivia house he founded in 2012. The Chronomètre Antimagnétique (2023) is the line’s first production reference, with the RR-02 caliber inside a soft-iron Faraday cage and the same Geneva workshop output that produces the Akrivia-signed pieces.
Rexhep Rexhepi (b. 1987) is a Kosovar-Swiss independent watchmaker who trained at Patek Philippe from age 17 before founding Akrivia in 2012. His own-name brand, operating under the 'Rexhep Rexhepi' signature distinct from the Akrivia house, was established to carry his most personal work. The Chronomètre Antimagnétique (2023) is the first production reference: a time-only piece with a soft-iron inner cage for anti-magnetic protection, the in-house RR-02 caliber, and finishing that reviewers have placed at the level of Patek and Lange. Output is a handful of watches per year from the Geneva old town workshop. Rexhepi is widely regarded as one of the most talented independent watchmakers of his generation; the buyer reality is that access is extremely limited and the secondary market is thin, which means price discovery is uncertain.
